The short version. Grid is a free daily puzzle. Play it, don't cheat, don't abuse other players, and don't try to break it. We provide it as-is and can't promise it will never go down or lose data.
By using Grid you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it. These terms are between you and [YOUR NAME OR COMPANY] ("we", "us").

Grid is four puzzles played back-to-back on one grid, once a day, against a clock. Everyone gets the same puzzle on the same day. The constraint is the point: you get one scored run per day, and finished runs cannot be replayed or deleted. Practice runs are unlimited and are never scored or ranked.
Grid is free. There is no purchase, no subscription, and no advertising.
The whole app rests on times being honest. You agree not to:
We may remove times we reasonably believe are falsified, reset a leaderboard, or suspend an account. We'll aim to be fair about it, but the call is ours.
Don't use usernames, display names, or invites to harass, impersonate, or send unwanted messages to other people. Don't try to access anyone else's account or data.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue Grid, or any part of it, at any time. We may change puzzle difficulty, scoring, badges, or the leaderboards. Where a change re-rolls past puzzles or resets historical scores, we'll say so in the app if we reasonably can.
Grid can be played offline, but syncing, leaderboards, and sign-in need a connection. We don't promise any particular uptime.
Your results and settings stay yours. By using friend features you agree that the friends you connect with can see your username, avatar, and times, as described in the Privacy Policy.
You grant us the limited right to store and display that information to you and to the players you have connected with, for the purpose of running the service.
Grid — its code, design, puzzle generators, name, and logo — belongs to us and is protected by copyright and other rights. These terms don't give you any ownership in it, only permission to use the app as intended.
Grid is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own copy of anything you can't bear to lose.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost streaks, or lost profits, arising from your use of Grid. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (which for a free app is nothing) or the minimum the law requires.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, you keep all statutory rights that cannot be excluded.
You can stop using Grid at any time and delete your account from Profile → Delete account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — ownership, disclaimers, liability — do survive.
These terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR COUNTRY / STATE], and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring proceedings where you live.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we'll flag significant changes in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Grid after a change means you accept it.
